Deposit - A 30% deposit payment will be required at the time of booking. This will be processed via our secure online payment system.
Balance - The full balance becomes due 30 days prior to arrival. You will receive a payment request and link to online payment via email.
Housekeeping Deposit - This is charged to guests bringing dogs only. The deposit will be refunded if no additional cleaning is required.
Accommodation is over two ground floors. The master bedroom, en-suite, lounge and kitchen are on the upper ground floor. The second bedroom is situated on the lower ground floor with the shower room. There are stairs with a hand rail down to the lower ground floor.
The second bedroom is normally set up as a king size double. It is a zip linked bed and can be set up as a twin room with two single beds, on request.
LIMITED MOBILITY GUESTS For those guests with limited mobility the upper ground floor is comfortable accommodation. For your information our Access Statement is available to download. If you have any questions or requests please call us directly on Tel: 01466 780471.
Children are very welcome at Buttermere Cottage. We can supply bed guards, a high chair and a Mothercare travel cot. All of which we will set up ready for your arrival. Cot sheets are not provided.

Parking is situated next to the cottage in the form of a large off road gravelled lay-by. There is ample room for two cars.
Nearest Amenities Aberchirder is a village just 3 miles down the road. It offers a good Co-op, chemist, Post Office, Chinese takeaway and a couple of pubs. Banff is 5 miles in the opposite direction. An easy and beautiful drive it is a seaside town offering a selection of shops, takeaways
and eateries. Also located here are the Drs, A&E and Dentists. All local information is in the cottage Welcome Book.
Public Transport is available from Banff, where you can catch a bus along the coast towards Elgin and Inverness, or to Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. The nearest train station is 15 miles away in Huntly, where you can catch a train to Aberdeen. There is no public transport near the cottage. The location necessitates a motor vehicle. Motor Bikes welcome.

This is a non-smoking property.
However guests are welcome to smoke in the garden. Thank you.
