If you are driving north to the cottage please review the map below of the new Aberdeen Bypass. It will save you considerable time on your journey. 

Stay on the A90 until the Aberdeen Airport junction. Exit here and take the A96 north towards Inverurie and Inverness. Drive for approximately 32 miles on the A96. Just before Huntly take the turn on the right onto the A97 to Banff. Buttemere Cottage is located 14 miles along this road, 2 miles after Aberchirder.

The cottage is easily located on the A97, just five miles from Banff, on the coast. Although in a beautiful rural area, being situated on an 'A' road means it can be located easily. Sat Navs using the full post code, should bring you straight to the door. 

The cottage can be reached from Dyce Airport at Aberdeen. Just 45 miles of rolling countryside lies between the airport and here.

If flying in to Inverness, it is a little bit further, about 75 miles. But again it is a beautiful drive down.
